Condelesa "Rice" and Sharad Pawer does not get it

It is a joke that the US Secretary of State, Ms Rice, former provost of the university, Stanford at that, even if it be as a former employee of that superb academic institution, must be restrained in her speach on Indian eating habits. This is not a joke. Rice is saying that the global food crisis is because Indians and Chinese are eating more - a joke that Stanford must object to, for the sake of its crediblity at least.

Shame on Ms Rice, for such a stupid statement. India and China have been eating well, long before The UNited States of America was even founded. Miss Rice must read history and recognize that India and China have been arround for a few milliniums and we were well fed and well taken care of by our leaders.

Condi must learn that famines occured in India and China after the British and other European colonial rule entered India and those corrupt and inefficient rulers imposed policies detrimental to Chinese and Indian people. Exploitation caused poor food grain output, not better eating by Indians and Chinese - as is happening once again.

Yes, Ms Rice's approach to ecomomics in Iraq - does not apply to food grains as well. She and her boss Mr ush has manipulated a war in Iraq to cause shortage of oil and the resulting oil price hike, which is benefitting the share holders and suppoerters of the oil cartels of the world - namely republical donors. The effort to bring the same illogical theory to foodgrains is the real story here. No way Rice, we will not buy this t any cost.

Sharad Pawer, India's agricultural minister, who is as bad as Condi Rice is as to having a grasp on the problems, to doing anything to solve them, will tell her, India and China can handle themselves on the food issues, without any help from uncle sam. No thank you maam. Keep your rice and wheat there. Also your guns and weapons too. However, Sharad being Sharad he is only keen to speak against Sonia being president of the congress party... that is untill, she allows him and his party into her ruling coalition of the nepotists.

The real crisis in food is caused by the escalation of oil prices caused by american and British war in Iraq. The escalation is caused by undue attention to weapos economy - selling guns, bombs and planes instead of food, to profit American and British corporations who sell weapons as opposed to dealing with food and nutritional needs of the world and emphasising on matters of life. The colonial days of oppression and suppression are back in style unfortunately - and they will fail yet again.

Shard Pawer is more into cricket than agriculture, and he caused a split in the Congress opposing Sonia - yet is comfortably her ally in the failed Indian administration in New Delhi, contributing to the crisis in food, and the resulting inflation. He has done well, to organize the IPL cricket event and the resulting success f it. he should choose the business world and quit politics as Ms Rice ought to as well - as they are failures at what they are dong for people as regards food or peace.

Instead of buying 40 Billion $ ( 43,000 crores of rupees worth in first installment ) of aircrafts from US and other western countries - which will put huge commissions in the politiciaal-supporters pockets as in Boffers of past and BAE systems in SaudiArabia -- We will not be having this food crisis. NOR INFLATION.

The food crisis is being created by the failure of the administrations in both New Delhi and Washington. Both of them, fortunately are on their last days. Condi Rice will have barely a 8 months left and Shard Pawer untill the next election in India at most May 2009.

Shard Pawer has not even visited the state of Kerala, since the unusal rains caused by global warming caused by undue militrification destroyed crops of rice, the real kind we are speaking of, which we in Kerala and in China and Asia have been comfortably cultivating for a few thousad years, with no problems of food shortage, however much we eat. And yes, Condi, we Asians do not eat as much as your fellow Americans. See who is more overweight, before you shoot your mouth off. Enough of your rubbish talk. Maybe it is tie to tell Americans to eat les for their own good health. No, this is n criticism of Americans in general. There are millions of good Americans as there are people of all nationalities. I am just responding to Condi's compliments to India. No Thanks maam.

You ca fid friends like Sharad Pawer who cares not for the people of Kerala, to agree with you. You wont find anyone with average IQ agreeing with you.

Now I have a question for you Ms Rice. How did Stanford put up with you ?

Media is the vehicle for Kerala's reform

In the land that is described as the most literate in India, Kerala, the State on the South West Coast, where Vasco-Da-Gama beat Christopher Coloumbous to, bringing colonialism to Idia 500 some years ago - we need a wake up call and only the media can do that.

The media in Kerala is vibrant, as even the most basic of labor read atleast one, maybe two newspaper a day, before or along with their bed coffee. The populace is informed on world affairs, and also on matters of history and culture.

Yet the political establishment has failed, and failed miserably on 7 fronts, ad it is the media, and there are a dozen newspapers and as many TV channel that must wake up the sleeping Keralite from the pathos, ethos and other...

Here are the 7 :

1. Public Health crisis - Lack of proper waste disposal is causing a major epidemic like proportion od diseases and there are tens of thousands of unemployed, educated ones at that. Creat an entreprenurial culture of waste management - today. Tomorrow may be too late.

2. Political "nookukooli style" must end and the politicians must become active in solving problems. Today all of them, there must be about 10,000 politicians accross the State whomake their living "looking on" and talking, doing NOTHING. Yes, stop talking, and do something, and listen to the people. Today, tomorrow would be too late. A real change in the politicians attitude and approach , a must.

3. Infrastructure - primarily the rail network wherein wok is at a standstill must become a 24 / 7 activity. Widening of the railline between Kayamkulam and Kottayam- Ernakulam must be completed and the double laining done immiedietly. Double the number of trains as well, and transportation bottlenecks and congestion on the roads and trains will become a thing of the past. Mt laloo, the railway Minister must be asked to visit the State for a dialogue with the people and leadership of the state, seperately. This must happen today, tomorrow maybe too late.

4. Water bodies must be cleaned Immiedietly - Kerala's water is the best you can find anywhere in the world, and plenty . However it is pollutted by human mismangement and political inefficiency. 44 rivers, dozens of Lakes, and thousands of ponds - all must be cleaned immiedietly. Jobs ad an attitude shift will happen as we do this. Today, not tomorrow.

5. Garbage collection and waste to energy plants with remuneration for bags of garbage sorted and presented to the processing plants. It will be a revolution in cleanliness and will make Kerala, truely the beauty she is. Clean and free of mosquittos, causing deadly diseases today, and also a place that is welcoming to people. Today we must do this, not wait for tomorrow, for it may be toolate....

6. Provide holistic health and education about disease prevention in all schools and colleges one day a week, 8 hours, and get all students to engage in Gandhiji inspired cleanliness focussed outdoor sanitation and beautification activities. Learn of nature, from nature. Become a part of nature. protect it, breathe the fresh air. Today and not tomorrow for tomorrow woulf be too late.

7. Creat a master plan for a new Kerala - with a new city as its center in Travancore linking the 3 districts of Kottayam, Alleppy and Pathanamthitta, and their capitals. The triangular districts as a tri-district city with urban planning, and housing for the 6 million population, with protectng the environment and the tourist sites these 3 Districts have - while rebuilding the Venice of the East - Alleppy - moving East Words linking it to Kottayam and Pathanamthitta, a metropolis that will put Dubai to shame. We must do it today and tomorrow would be too late. Singapore is only 250 sq miles. The 3 districts we speak of is 25 times that size. Dubai has to import everything but oil. Kerala has everything in plenty - people, brains, resources, nature, green, spices, seafood, fresh vegetables, roses, jasmine, Chakka, mangoes, rubber, pepper, cardomom, tea, coffee, historic sites, temples that are 4,000 years old, church that as ld as Christianity, Mosques that are vibrant, cultural integrity, religious harmony, movie industry, arts, cash...ew nuts ..as well as cash coming in like water from Non-resident keralites living overseas... Today not tomorrow.

The media must wake up and do the cajouling. NOW. God's own country can be got back from the devils to which... the bacteria, virus included that it is fast becoming a prey to.

You can WAKE UP Kerala... Here is your media coming alive anew... WE will do it.

Malayala Manorama, Deepka, Mathrubhumi, Mangalam, Kerala Dhwani, Kerala Bhushanam, Indian Express, Hindu, Bussiness Standard, Business Deepika, Dhanum, even extinct Thaninirum can cme alive, Kairali, Asianet, Jeevan Tv, etc etc. and more new ones as well...

M. S. Gill as minister of Sports a sham and a shame to GOI

Why does democracy as a form of governance breed corruption on such huge scales as it does today n India, US, Britain ?

Mr M. S. Gill, the former Chief election commissioner of India, has been inducted into the Ministry at the Govt of India, as sports minister , by SOnia and Pm Manmohan Singh of India. This is a travesty, and a breech in the confidence of the public in election control board and other independant bodies, that must remain alloff from political interference.

This is the simillar story to how George Bush won the 2000 election, as the supreme Court of the US was stacked by his father George Bush ( former VP, CIA chief who became President of US ) who then voted, and leaned towards the younger Bush, even though Al Gore had won the popular vote and the Florida ballott was rigged, faulty, what have you ??

Mr Gill, obviously did the Sonia - Manmohan - communists a favour in the past ( that is the thinking we idiotic and stupid people are likely to imply, naturally !! ) and that he is being paid back for the favours he rendered in the past.

So an investigation into all his, M. S. Gill's actions as election commissioner to see if he had shown partiality is needed, and an enquiry must be commenced at the earliest.

No, I am not anti Sonia, or anti Manmohan or anti communist. I am pro truth ad pro democracy and anti-corruption. We need to expose corruption in India among our politicians and beaurrocrats - this is happening at an unprecedented scale, and the sad fact is that George Bush Tactics are being imported by the current administration or lies, lies, lies and more lies... to win elections and the manipulation of the media and the organizations that must be neutral are being roped in to take sides. Politicization of any and every aspect of life is the sad story of India's current domcratic frame work.

Why does Mr Gill and Sonia and Manmohan not do anything to stop the fecal dumping by Indian railways on the tracks causing death and disease to millions ??

Mr Gill must resign... or he will certainly be defeated in the next elections... no, that too is not a possiblityfor they use these rajya sabha loophole to get their cronies in as Members of parliment and then as ministrers bypassing democracy. How shameful. ?

Mr Gill, show us your crediblity and render your resignation. you will do Indian democracy proud.

Swaraj Paul is not a Lord in India

It is shocking to see Mr Swaraj Paul - a successful NRI, who as an immigrant to Britain made it good, is now also a member of their parliament, called a Lord in Indian media.

However, and even if the Queen wants to call him a Lord or knights him, as she has done - it is inappropriate of Indian Newspapers and media to write of him, speak of him always using that title, in India. Just my opinion, this lordship is only pertaining to England, not India, nor to Indians. So pray tell me why does the Indian media do such a poor number on its readers ??

The irony of it all is that he was visiting India recently with a few parliamentarians from Europe, all of whom wanted to do more harm to Indian agriculture and prmote, yes , what thye call industrialization the western way- more weapons factries, more pollution creating vhicles, more global warming causing unhygenic technology unsuited to the great majority of India. Sad, real sad.

Swaraj has sadly forgotten that it was the British who divided his own hone state Bengal into two, way back, to keep their iron and unjust rule of subjugation, not to mention the partition of India later, and the rape of India by the real Lords and Kings and Prme Mnisters of his adopted land. How about getting an appology from her Majesty's government for their atrocities here in India.. and getting our Kohinoor and other stolen wralth back... Swaraj, please speak of these things in the British Parliment, befoe you come here to nda, to bring change here. Change f the kind hat puts money in your pocket and throws poor farmers out of their own land to become homeless poor... Tghink Swaraj.. wha has happened to your concience ??

Swaraj is an entreprenuer and a good one at that. However he is no patriot as far as India is concerned, nor are his ways of bringing more of what is western to India. Rcognize the failure of the system and the politicians in India please and speak about it. His former home state of West Bengal. in which Swaraj is praising the communists, pray tell for what - I guess for the avain flu that is becomig rampant there, as the garbage piles up.

Go to any communist ruled states and you wil see garbage, filth, waste all over. Why ? My thory is that this is done partialy intentionaly. This brings the standards of civic behaviour down and the worst elements in society are encouaged to use the party as a shield to hide their alcohol induced anti social activities - the environment effects peoples attitudes. Keep it dirty and no one will feel motivated to change - a perfect fertile soil for communist ideology to grow. Unfortunately even PM Manmohan Singh, has taken to being an admirer of it, sadly. After all Sonia is a closet communist too, staing in power as an ally of the communist party.

Indians need to wake up and rescue India from going under the hammer and ariwal... for the lands ruled by communism and its idelogues all have perished or the people perish for sure. Look at USSR, Eastern Europe, Tibet under China, The poor n China, and many many other examples ncluding West Bengal and Kerala... so bcackward and they give you a spin that it is otherwsie... NO... Go to Kerala and see the filth all over the state from North to Souh.

Look at China, how the Tibetans are taking it on the chin... NO, I am not a proponent of capitalism gone amok either as George Bush and Co are doing in Iraq, an equaly bad situation as the communists. The time for us to throw both these systems and to find an ndian way is the need of the hour. Yes.

India needs to follow the Mahatma.. The Real Gandhi. His teachings and methods are the only time honored path for India. He got us Swaraj... the real one, unlike a Swaraj Paul trying to pull wool over our eyes... the Swaraj that Gandhiji got us is real, true and lasting. Any doubts read Gandhiji;s own book Hind Swaraj. If we dont get back to the real basics of truth, non-violence and cleanliness - Swaraj Paul and co and others like him will hand India back to their colonial masters, yet again, unfortunately. Let India and Indians be ready, able, willing and awake.

India is ready for a global peace revolution. BAE and other compnies like Lockheed Martin... please go home and make your defence products in your own country.. we in India do not want further weaponization and warfaring colonialim... Please... NO thank you...

Gandhiji would have said the same...

Peace before Sports - Olympics 2012

Yes, I am all for sports and games
However when Nations make a mockery of sports
Such as Olympics as business and propaganda
I say - boycott it as in London 2012
If they want to do what they do in Iraq.

Yes, the Britts have been plundering Iraq
Along with the US and it is the Government's
Of these 2 counties, just as well
Again - the Govts of - that is bullying,
Killing, torturing in the name of politics, greed.

Ism's that thinks freedom
is not worthy of dignity - just as the US and UK
Think Iraq is not deserving of respect - Iraqi's that is
Using war and torture to subjugate nations and peoples - NO
Boycot the Olympics of 2012 in London.

Let us celebrate sports and peace - the games
Symbolize harmony, truth, non-violence, peace
Justice, truth, honesty. Yes, Olympics must only be given
To nations that value and honor HUMAN RIGHTS...
Indian Governement needs to speak for truth, peace, liberty.

Stop the mad mad mad arms race and the abuse of power...
Follow the true and great leader Gandhiji...
If Gandhiji was alive.. what would he have done ?
He would champion freedom of Iraqi peoples...
He would have called for a greater boycott than just the olympics..

We just passed a major landmark, as 40 years ago,
Martin Luther King was shot dead in 1968...
A true seeker of peace and freedom, a follower of Gandhiji..
Who won civil rights for many millions in the US,
Against aparthied in America - for that is what segregation was.

Let us speak up with the Dalai Lama for peace and progress..
China and India must focus on development with sports..
While notfailing to attend to basic responsibliies..
Such as stopping the human fecal dumping by trains in India, China
Or the granting of freedoms to pursue peace.

Let the Olympic torch bring peace... yes
Lt the torch be again and again, lit peacefully
Let the peoples of the world be allowed to speak up
Against GOVERNMENTAL oppression.. peoples voice of peace
Political corruption, war and inefficiency must end..Truth must triumph..!!

Dalai Lama, please be politicaly active - you are an Indian !!

It is a strange thing that Mr Pranab Mukerjee, foreign minister of India is asking Dalai Lama to not be politically active in India. How absurd. How come Mukerjee is not saying the same thing to Sonia ?

If it is an issue of a foreigner, then Sonia is as much a foreigner as Dalai Lama, and how come she is active politically, when her views and actions have so many problems for Indian's and yes even the Indian government !!

Is Dalai Lama an Indian citizen ? If he has lived here for 50 years and become an Indian citizen, which is what I think he is, then why can he not be active politicaly and who is Mukerjee to tell the Dalai Lama to give up his fundamental rights ?

Sonia is a foriegner, every bit as the Dalai Lama is and she should remain out of politics, if not for the sensitive reasons being given for the Dalai Lama, then for the fact that she has beeen very detrimental to India's development and growth, as she has a very poor idea of what and where India and Indian's need.

I would rather have the Dalai Lama be the prime Minister of IUndia than see a foreigner such as Sonia, taking this country down the drain. Now she wants her son, to become a leader, when he has shown nosigns of it.

Sorry Sonia and Rahul, this is the truth, and it may not please you both. However there are a lot of Indians, educated and open minded, democratic and finds your nepotistic ways totaly foreign and a failure. Please let India and Indians be what they want to be. Take a vacation and spend a life time serving people as the Dalai Lama has done, and then seek office.

Kerala needs a "third front" - yes, Karat is right on that

With many people in politics calling for a "third front" - meaning a different co-alition or other political option than what exists today, meaning a rejection of the two existing dual primary alliances. In Kerala, this is an urgent need.

Yes, Kerala certainly needs a third front as Prakash Karat is suggesting. Not the LDF and not the UDFanymore. The people have enough of both and both are equally horrible.

We Keralites have had one failure after another under these two failed, doomed to fail again political parties and their inefficient corrupt, anti-people policies, practices and ways of governance.

The Chickun-guinea is LDF's contribution to Kerala
Dengue is the UDF contribution to Kerala

New IIT for Kerala even though a list of new 6 iit's were just announced. Shame on Kerala's MP's and the current administration for failing to get an obvious and deserving IIT in Kerala.

Both the fronts have done nothing to save the people of Kerala from the dreaded diseases and their unchecked proliferation. Garbage mis-management has reached epic proportions in kerala, contributing to high disease incidence and great suffering. Thge department of tourism is failing to adequately put health warnings to people who visit the state.

Yes, we need a third front with better political and administrative solutions for Kerala. Karat is right. The people of Kerala must come forward with better solutions than the existing two fronts or options. Something better than LDF and UDF.

The railwaysHit.com movement is the kind of solution we need. We are a one-problem one-agenda one-item one-goal-oriented group of individuals, who intend to come under the cleanliness and green banner of ecological responsiblity.

We intend to get the job done, soon, efficiently and to save Kerala from a plague like state to which it is fast approaching. The health of people in Kerala and India - is the most urgent need of the hour. Our concept is simple. We will solve the Indian Railways toilet issue in less than 1 year. We want candidates to run at every election in the country, who are independant and will run and campaign on this single issue. Those interested please contact me at indianevada@yahoo.com

We do not need to travel in India to discover India, as Rahul is doing. We already have discovered India. We know that the primary problem we have choosen to solve is the most important issue before the electorate and it has been going on for over 100 years. Fecal dumping by Indian railways on tracks, causing death and diseas..... This we will solve.

We invite any individual, who is a citizen of India, who wish to get involved in ensuring that the 4,000 crore rupees allocated to new green toilets in Indian railway bathrooms - budget railways 2008 - is done as soon as possible within this year. To contest elections at any and all levels as independant candidates with the single agenda of exposing the colossasl failure of the UPA Govt in dealing with the railway human waste. We want individuals to contest the elections and we will help the candidates who are deserving and worthy by providing all and every kind of administrative and managerial support. We will have an open selection process as well as democratic selection process unlike the exisitng party's that have a dada mentality and seats are given to family members and goondad connected to the heirarchy. It is time we the people put the political parties, who have become as bad as the mob or worse - to a test of integrity, honesty on public health related matters and accountablity to the Nations cleanliness, as Gandhiji taught.

What has Sonia done to stop the human fecal dumping by Indian railways - after all she has been in politics for a good while to understand the problems we in India face ??

It is a shame as well as a joke that she is calling congress-people to go to jails. Yes, the truth of the matter is that a lot of people who are members of her party, and that of many other political party deserve to be in jails. Both for actions of a nature that is negligent as regards public health as well as for corruption.

Yes, Sonia, send them to jail. Just because Gandhiji and Nehru went to jail - they were thrown there by a colonial unjust and wicked system - and truely Gandhiji and Nehru and others who went to jail became heros - for they were truely heros, does not mean that current congress party members will become heros for going to jail. They deserve to be in jails, you are right on that one.

Sonia asking congress members to go to jail is a joke. Yes, that is where many of them belong along with many of the alliances that is UPA. It is a good thing that Sonia is finaly admitting that many congress members must go to jail - even if it is with a vested interest and out of ignorance that she is speaking.

Sonia, since you have so much power and influence, why dont you make sure that the railways stop dumping human fecal matter on tracks - this year - yes 2008. That is a goal worth achieiving, as it will save milions of lives in India.

Mr Manmohan Singh, PM of India, when can we have an answer to our open question as to details and timelines for completion of the railway toilets. It cannot wait 4 years. Yes, we acknowledge that even if it be through legal process and the courts, based on our efforts - funds in the nature of 4,000 crores has been allocated.

What we want to see is results. Stop dumping fecal matter - and then we can go for nuclear etc. First clean up the human crap and then we can deal with nuclear crap or waste which you want George Bush's corporate buddies to dump in India for their economic well being.

Mr Singh, what is the financial details of the nuclear treaty ? We have not seen anything in the media . Can we have some details. Please..
