Fraud central - India and its politicians
Election code is danger to democracy, as it violates the fundamental rights of freedom of speach. The so called phony document that is flouted and violated everyday is as bad a bill and document as any, in any part of the world.
One cannot say this or that - on any issue. One can be jailed or done all kind of legal harassement for speaking one's mind.
Political parties must be made to account for their wealth as their candidates declare their assetts when filing petition to contest. This has been conveniently left out in the code.
The code is a deal that political parties ( read here experts at corruption !! ) have framed for their own convenience to fool the people.
The "shoe-throwing" at politicians is becoming an art form and three cheers to that. The law must be assed to make she-throwing at politicians a non-crime. We can this way see who are the most unpopular politicians. The list will grow from George Bush and his friend Manmohan to many more.
It is a sad reality how bad politicians and so called leaders are - that they are getting shoes thrown at them. This MUST become a global phenomena - a right for the public. No police or legal action can be or should be taken against any shoe-thwers who throw at politicians.
Politicans in India are the worst in the world... corrupt, unconcerned and liars.
It is time for a change. Let us follow Gandhiji and start with railway fecal cleansing. We are peaceful and peace oriented. We are not war mongers like the politicians in New Delhi. The Congress and their allies did nothing to prevent the Mubai attack, and they are shamelessly gloating over the terrible record. DEFEAt them.
South Africa went to polls as the IPL is being played there. Indian politicians want to extend the elections over a month... so they can campaign. The election should not be over a week at max. No campaigning permitted after a single cut off date.

Indian election 2009 - overstreched underserved public revolts by ballott
Indian election 2009 saga is about ending in 37 days !!
They start voting tomorrow and they go on for 37 days or so, a 5 phace election - an idiotic an idea if there be one. Do it in 2 days flat and be done with it.
We have to wait for results a month and a half for results - in this day of computers and technlologu?. Meanwhile our "netha's" will be travelling campaigning, as well as going to South Africa for IPL - that the govt was incapable of hosting in the first place !! ??
Vote Commonsense . Defeat all, ALL incumbants.

Lalu, our rail manthri - even as he allocated money left the job undone. SO has Sonia and Manmohan, left railways fecal dumping as it is. SHAME. Let us make these netahs learn a lesson - vote them OUT.

600 Cr RS ( 120 Mill US $ ) weapons commission scam on 2 B $ deal
Mr A. K. Anthony of Kerala, the defence Minister of India is in hot water. He authorized a 2 Billion plus weapons deal on the closing days of the Indian parliament. It is now news that the happening with the Isrealian arms manufacturer who was blacklisted - is a bofors like deal using Anthony the clean image guy, as the signatory. The company name and details are yet to surface and so, if anyone has the info or details on this, please pass it on and bring out the "bofors-like" defence deals coming out of India, with Sonia and Anthony playing commission agents to support the corrupt congress party.
Here are the facts and do understand that Rs 4,000 crores, was all that Mr Lalu Prasad Yadav ( the railway minister and ally of Anthony allocated for solving the Railway fecal dumping problem ) and it has not stopped dumping crap on tracks... the railways continues to do that and s 1,000 has been spend to make a faulty technology that will continue to help pharmaceutical companies mint money at the cost of Poor Indians suffering from disease caused by the trains dumping shit all over India on the tracks. Shame Lalu, Sonia, Manmohan, Anthony.

3. The chief election commissioner of India must investigate this and fnd the code violation.
4. Mr Anthony has given press conferences in TVM and this again is a violation of the code and the advice of the election commissioner. If he is defence minister of India, then stay away political campaigns as he is not a candidate. Neither is his boss the PM Manmohan Singh. Why are these people who get backdoor entry into parliament through Rajya Sabha have so much freedom to act of behalf of the people - we the people - when we find it repulsive, illegal and corrupt as well as unethical. manmohan has failed the country - it is time to vote the congress UPA - non-existing now - OUT.
5. With Rs 10,000 we can in India build homes for 100,000 families, that is for 500,000 people homes. People who live in shacks and slums as shown in slumdog millionere need homes. Instead Mr Anthony is creating jobs and economic security in Isreal for people who are making wars and weapons. Mr Anthony as Chief Minister of Kerala never bothered to do anything about cleanliness and sanitation. Kerala has mosquittoe, malaria and filthy water in lakes and lagoons. Protecting the health of people is defence of the first order. He failed in that, just as he failed to stop the Mumbai attacks.
6. India needs a peace agenda, like Gandhiji adviced. Anthony thinks getting weapons from the West will stop terrorism. It only makes things worse. Anthony is also going to spend Rs 1,41,000 cr ( about 40 B US $ ) on weapons such as aircrafts from Boeing and BAEsystems - creating jobs in Europe and US. This money can be better spend in India on slum clearance, garbage managment and santation.
7. India needs a million toilets. Anthony and his buddies have taken Kerala down the drain. They speak as if UDF vs LDF is the leadership struggle. Both are horrible. Kerala's environment is so pollutted, dirty, cess pools, sewage untreated dumped everywhere, "chickengunya" ( Anthony's contribution to Kerala... it started in his Cherthalla constituency ) and "elipanni" the LDf contribution.
8. Expose the guns deal and scam. Newspapers need to write in detail of this weapons deal. Mr Anthony must resign, and he is not a member of the Lokh Sabha. He is not a candidate in the election this time and he is getting Z protection and taking police services away, when they need to maintain law and order. He is out campaigning for congress as defence minister. Shame. His track record is terrible. Corruption - over the last 35 years, in kerala and Delhi which he has been in the mids of - pray tell me, what has he seen and what has he exposed among his political buddies in Congress when it comes to sorruption? NOTHING. He is as much a part of it all, even if he may not take it home and put it in his own bank account. He is party's corruption mechanism chief.

IPL flies the coup while Congress and Chidambaram fiddle their thumbs
Yes... the current Indian Government, UPA as they call it, a coalition headed by Congress party and their allies ( read that as Ex-allies !! ) cannot, YES CANNOT even assist India hold or stage a bunch of cricket matches. How does one ever let these guys rule again. No way.
Defeat Congress and their allies and most certainly defeat Chidambaram. manmohan does not even dare be a candidate - how pathetic an excercise in democracy is Indian governance - it has to be seen to be belieivied.
Corruption rules the day and failure on the security front is an everyday happening. Mr Anthony - the clean man of congress is reported to have assisted a Rs 160 crore commission to assist the congress party in the elections - by authorizing a last minute defence deal worth 2 Billion US $ from isreal. Mr A K Anthony has failed to speak up, and certainly India ought not to be buying weapons from Isreal and supporting Isreal when our allies in the Arab and Middle East world are being plumetted by the fnding we in india provide to Isreal by buying weapons from them. I am not anti isreal or antin any nation. I am pro India and pro peace.
Mr James Otis was in India recently - the heir to the Otis elevator company who recently auctioned the Mahatm's goodies. He is right on one issue - he wants India to stop militricification and weapons purchase and do what Gandhiji wanted India to do. Help eradicate poverty.

Indian elections a sham and a shame
The world's largest democracy is undergoing its next election cycle and what a sham and shame it is. The party - political party's that is, corrupt as can be are infighting among ally's in what is called seat allocation. India has NO PRIMARY elections to choose candidates and party boss's choose their son's, daughters, daughter-in-law, uncles, aunts and other who give them money as the candidates. It is a shame. Sonia, an Italian who moved to India following marriage to an Indian 40 years ago, has brought a new kind of inefficiency, corruption and colonialism to India. India watch out or the Romans will really be here soon, and India may once again become a colonial power. Sadly... true.
The campaign thus far has been sadly lacking in substance and it is corruption all the way. The so called code of conduct is itself a sham - and no candidate can openly speak on issues. Fundamental rights of speach are restricted.
India is at a major crisis. Mr Shash Tharoor, a friend of mine and a candidate is fielded here in Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala in South India's Kerala State. Shashi was UN Koffi Annan's media chief as Koffi bungled and damaged Iraq. And yes, he was in the Iraq foodscam, with same Koffi and Sashi did precious little to bring peace to the world, even as he jet setted arround the world on UN money, and later became "india"s candidate. More correctly Manmohan and Sonia's candidate to be sec general of UN and lost for he quit, having no support of the 5 UN permanent security council memebrs. Sashi is coco cola's candidate and is speaking for Sonia... and colonialism and westernisation and corproate greed.
I say Kerala must defeat him, for even though he maybe a good guy, talented and all that... however, he is coming as a proponent of the West and supporting corruption in New Delhi, having become a cndidate by licking boots and dooing namaste to party boss... when he knows the system is corrupt and unfair and needs fixing. Shashi can do better and must speak against the massive corruption in New Delhi and the arms dealing in the world that is causing poverty.
The fecal dumping on railway tracks continues as Minister Lalu has parted company with Sonia. Yet they will not directly challenge each other and there is "collussion politics " on a grand scale violatng the election code in India. Thes party's and their candidates must be brought to book by the election commisioners... that is a pipe dream.. for the commissioners are the party's men themselves. Democracy in India is under threat.... The people must wake up..
Most party's and their candidates ought to not even be eligable for election - given their track record , corruption, neptotism and double dealing with weapons manufacturers and commission agents.
DEFEAt the incumbants. Send to Parliament only new faces and people. YES, defeat all the current Members of the Indian Parliament... Yes defeat a few new faces such as Shahshi too !! for they are candiadtes of the establishment, nepotism's kids.
India needs a real Gandhi-ji. Not pseudo Gandhi's who are wrecking the country. Throw out the congress and communists. Throw out the RJD the SP and the Others. It is time for a change !! Yes. Nuclear deal vote was done by bribary... yes and SP and Amar Singh have now parted company with Sonia and Congress.. what a thamasha this is. A K Anthony has signed billions of $ worth of defence contracts and these need to be investigated... the Bombay attack was a cover to get arms sales and commissions... India is in danger...Indians wake up and smell the crap on the tracks !! YES

Vivek Kundra is a man we must applaud
Yes, it is a great choice that Mr Obama has made. Even as after 2 months or more of dillydallying Dr Sanjay Gupta opts to NOT become the surgeon general - Mr Obama choosing Vivek Kundra as federal hief information office - it is a great sign of the kind of persons Obama loks for.
I have known Vivek for a long time and we were close friends in the late 1990's when I lived in the washington DC area. Vivek is a man of integrity, ethics and principals. He is not the usual NRI looking for money, money, fame , fame and nothing else. Yes, this unfortunately is true about a lot of It people in US and the new rich of the NRI crowd.
Vivek who came to US via Africa is a great admirer and follower of Gandhiji and it is certain that Vivek will take matters forward.
I wish him all the best and fondly remember our conversatons from a decade ago - when as an unassuming young person in his mid twenties, Vivek always stood apart and valued ethics, truth and non-violence.
Congratulations to Vivek. May God bless you. Three cheers to Mr Obama for making a great choice. Now if only we could find a decent surgeon general not the Dr Sanjay Kind please !!
