Five years and the-war-in-Iraq-business lingers on - shame, shame Indian media

It is sad and absord that 5 years, of Bush and his corporate defence contractor buddies have kept the war-business doing good for their pocket books, as lives by the thousands are lost, while Indian media does not seem to care in India. Shame, shame.

Why is the media in India so silent on the gory details of th Bush administration's atrocities of human rights and every law in the book of war and peace they are violating there ? Maybe because Prime Minister of India and Sonia of Congress party are a party to the goings on in Washington - they want the nuclear deal - to fill everyone's pockets even more. Shame, shame - Indian media. For not speaking of the "money and business" behind the nuclear treaty and the underbelly of the unholy alliance that is being formed with an evil regime. Ask Obama and he will tell you. Ask Hillary or Bill and theywill tell you, the truth of the Iraq war.

Wake up and report the criminal activities that the Bush administration has been involved in Iraq and the innumerable investigations in Congress and US senete that has brought to light atrocities after atrocities, day in and day-out.

Mr A. K. Anthony, defence minister of India, a supposed Gandhian ( which Gandhi we dont know or do we ?? ) is all out patronizing the US policy of war with no ethics in Iraq. Maybe we should call him an ex-Gandhian, as he is now emerging as the buy any and all weapons minister, pleasing every defence contractor unlike what the tru Gandhi advocated. He has not even visited the US once in his life time and does not have any understanding of what is going on in Washington today, for he lacks a cultural understanding of the neocon mindset that is taking the world to hell. He is unaware now as well as pretends not to know the the double dealing slam-bamm that is happening with defence contractors, blackwater, genocide, American and British business-of-war to make money.

Why is Indian media not more vocal and critical of India's silence on the Iraq war front ? Why is Indian media going along with Sonia's arms build up with cozing up to defence contractors of US and Britain when they were the same purputareators of subjegation through violence and the gun of India and Indian's during the colonial days - whom Gandhiji, the real Gandhi ensured was packed off peacefully, guns in their hand.

Is the stuffling of the media as it happened during emergency - then openly, happening in secret today and in a behind the scene managed way ? Sonia had a lot of behind the scene expertice watching Indira ram the press and other freedoms down the drain during emergency ? Some of the same people, at least a half a dozen of them from those days are still hovering along the so called heirarchy, this time toeing the Bush line and the Iraq war support. This is unconcionable, and an issue that must be front and center in the coming elections in India. The media has become a tamed goat instead of a raging bull.

Be it Obama or Hillary, the democrats in US are certainly headed for a win like the 1977 elections in India that saw the routing of the corrupt and evil congress party of then, that had violated democratic norms, throwing any and every opposition leaders in jail. Remember emergency ? The republican party in the US today is mirror image of the Congress party of the emergency days. Same story. Different people, different agenda, different theater. Same lack of ethics.

The media needs to be alert and ensure that another emergency through a backdoor, this time in the name of terrorism as Bush is doing in America, does not happen in India.

Indian democracy is at peril, as we have a leadership in New Delhi, headed by Manmohan that has forgotten the Indian universal stand for peace and non-violence. India must speak peace and partner nations that want peace, so we do not end up giving billions of $ as A K Anthony wants to do - to US and British defence contractors. The money must be used to take care of public health and improve living standards of 100 million Indians in India, living in abject poverty - while our chotta-neta's are spaking of discovering India and gloating over nepotistic succession plans. Shame. Shame.

Yes, by all means build an army - do it with indigenous materials and money. Spend it here to train and educate a 10 million armed force that can deal with any domestic, national or international need - in war or peace, national calamities, garbage cleaning, infrastructure building, reforming the world from the clutches of war-mongers and defence contractors as Gandhiji taught s, is the call of India.... Peace above all. Not war as business as Bush is doing and shame on Indian media for not exposing it. Where is the energy and dynamism of "Indian Express" as it did in India during the days of emergency, exposing the scams and corruption, violation of law and ethics. How come the same culprits are ruling again, and in co-hoot with a US administration that has made violence in Iraq an art as evil as anytime on Earth ??.

Wake up Indian media. Smell the crap that is on the railway tracks that are causing death and disease in India and write about the need to protect Indian public's health, for peace is health... the tragedy in Iraq as it goes unreported in anyserious a manner by Indian media today is a shame on our moral fabric - allow the public voice against violence and war in Iraq to be heard loud and clear. India must oppose the war in Iraq as Bush "celebrates" 5 years today of this global brutal tragedy.

Dont even think of supporting John McCain a follower of Bush... a supporter of the war and Iraq-business-of-war-machine. India must speak for universal ceasfire in Iraq immiedietly.

Loan waiver for "farmers" - a fraud in the making

The Indian Government's budget 2008 has a 20 Billion ( $ 60,000 crores rupees ) loan waiver to farmers - a scam of the worst kind, by a finance minister who has his credentials all the way from Harvard.

The people who are getting loans written off are not all farmers.
The congress party and the communist party, allies in the fiasco that Indian governance has become is doing what is economic and management suicide by inculcating a loan waiver that creates a sense of get a bank loan - dont payback and the governement will bail - you - out culture.

Shame on Chidambaram, Manmohan Singh and Sonia for doing such a disservice to the nation of India and to the people who pay their loans to banks back.

There should have been clear community service and other committments from those who get the loan waiver - such as

( a) do garbage cleaning up for so many hours every week, for each R 1,000 that was waived.

(b) Do social work that is compulsory and supervised, to promote public health, honesty and cleanliness in India.

(c) Give land as compensation to create a land back to provide houses for poor - homeless people.

It would be good to know :

(a) How many Congress and communist Mla's and MP's and other political party members are taking benefit of this loan waiver ? These names need to be published in public forums such as newspapers.

(b) The funds of the congress party and communist party must be scrutinized to see, if these farm waiver funds are getting into the political party coffers through back room deals or corrupt ways to appease votes and vote banks.

(c) when did congress party and communist party submit their last budget and tax as well as statement of accounts ? Are there any funds in Swiss banks that these 2 party's have ?

Shame on Manmohan Singh ...for filing to speak up for peace....

It is a trajedy that PM Manmoan Singh of India is using the blame game to explain his "sonia-fication" of India, through its budget, weaponization and being on the wrong side of world peace.

India must strongly condem the US administration of George Bush for their irresponsible actions in Ieaq. Instead under Sonias tutelage, India is getting deeper and deeper into the wrong camp. India is a peace loving nation and Indians are peace loving people. We do not need to take sides in the war that Western nations such as US and UK are doing in Iraq.

The nuclea deal with the US will only make American defence and nuclear contractors richer by US $ 100 Billion - at the cost of India and more farmers and people in India will end up committing suicide, which is the result of this current administrations colossal failure.

Blaming the previous NA administration for farmer suicides in India, that is happening now - is like the British under Mr Churchill blaming India and Gandhiji for all the problems that Britain faced then. Manmohan Sigh's Govt is an imperialistic leaning one and shame on him for having left the teachings of Gandhiji.

Get back to the ways of peace, non-violence or be assured that the UPA, the corrupt congress - communist alliance in new Delhi will be defeated in the next elections, by the people of India.

Meanwhile Mr Singh, Sonia, Chidambaram and Laloo Prasad Yadav - please clean up the fecal dumping on Indian railway tracks, that your government corporation is doing. People are dying and PM has npt spolen about the issue at all. How come no parlimentarian in India has raised the issue in the house ?

Stop the unhygenic fecal waste and disease spreading action on railway tracjs NOW. On one year, in this year 2008 the RS 4,000 crores must be invested, and preferably half of it in Kerala - so that jobs are craeated and piblic health is maintained.

Shame on Manmohan and team in new Delhi for your power hungry blaming others, teaming up with George Bush kind of failed approach. India is neutral and non-alligned. No alliance with military expansionist administrations such as George Bush of the US.

India is a leader of the free world, and not a colony anymore. Stop taking it back to the colonial era.

Indian Government perform or quit

The budgets presented in Indian parliment are interesting id they be implemented, particularly the railway budget, allocating Rs 4,000 crores for the railways getting green toilets.

These are the conditions that need urgent attention :

1. A peoples body that will supervize and ensure that these funds are not pilferaged.

2. The problem must be solved in 1 year - not 4 years over the five year plans.

3. Kerala must get a plant and atleast 25% of the allocation - namely Rs 1,000 crore be invested in Kerala to build and install the new modular toilets and green - no droppings on ground system.

4. It is a pity that the budget by finance minister Chidambarm is allocating an all time high 20 Billion US $ plus or Rs 1,10,000 crores to defence allocation. SHAME Chidambaram. This is a Sonia budget and it is not a Gandhijian budget at all. India's current administration UPA is leaving Gandhiji behind and going after foreign made weapons - while Indian farmers are committing suicide due to failure of governmental administration at all levels - national, regional, state and local administration in India by in-cmpetent politicians and corruption by the political class is ruining India. The time to stand and be counted is now. Say no to the unnecessary militrification and arms race reating budget of Chidambaram, Manmohan and Sonia. Vote them out in the next elections.

5. The money being spend on buying foreign weapons must be used to build a defense system based on Indian talent, ideas, creativity and integrity. Peace is the way for India, not violence. This budget takes India to the imperialist camp like never before. the peple must revolt and protest the rampant "bophors" kind of money spending by govt to fill middlemen and Italian cronies who operate for imperialist interests. It is time for india and Indians to rise again - as Gandhiji, the real Gandhi taught. Peace and non-violence.

6. Shame on A. K. Anthony - who as defence minister is beefing up weaponization, when we should looking to promote peace in the world. Mr Anthony - why did you nt ask Mr Gates to leave Iraq, when he visited India recently ? Is India not for peace and disarmament any lnger ? Is A K Anthony a Gandhian ? No , he has become a soniagandhian... Not a Mahatma Gandhi follower anymore. Shame shame.

7. Clean up the railway toilets before seeking nuclear technology and the waste that nuclear technology brings.
