Indian election 2009 saga is about ending in 37 days !!

They start voting tomorrow and they go on for 37 days or so, a 5 phace election - an idiotic an idea if there be one. Do it in 2 days flat and be done with it.

We have to wait for results a month and a half for results - in this day of computers and technlologu?. Meanwhile our "netha's" will be travelling campaigning, as well as going to South Africa for IPL - that the govt was incapable of hosting in the first place !! ??

By the way, all that money in IMF and UN hands - the world is really in trouble. They are half the problem, and now with Sashi Tharoor in Indian politics, the problems will be even more complicated.
